‘India Now’ is a photographic series that explores the visual aspects of India’s economic growth. By focusing on the growing population of young urban professionals and the expending cityscapes of cities like Bangalore and Mumbai, the series want to question the stereotypic third world image of India. A major part of India’s population still lives in extremely poor conditions, but definitely not all. The rise of the middle and upper class is getting more and more visible in everyday city life.
