'Iridescence' -
Huize Frankendael, 2014
The works involved in ‘Iridescence’ question modes of representation in relation to colour. They explore underlying layers of history and connections between the past and the present. This field of visible and invisible enticements can also be seen as a political ground. Colour, which is often seen as feminine, exotic, and non-rational, plays not only an important role in branding commercial goods. Ideas on colour also influences our everyday social behavior.
'Iridescence' was part of 'A Festival of Choices' of The Sandberg Institute in 2014.
